Break free from your deviantart addiction >_>What do you think of the sharpness?
*cei-:
pretty good I think, there's plenty of detail in the stones on the sun-side wall down the bottom
*cei-:
i actually like this photo - there's a good tonal range, and the composition is spot on
*hakfest:
The path is nice yes
*hakfest:
Where it enters the photo
*cei-:
my main criticism is the border - it does nothing for the piece at all
*hakfest:
It does give it a kind of polaroid feel, which may be why I'm not too fond of it
*hakfest:
I was just thinking to myself, why do i not take to this photo
*cei-:
to an extent, but I've been playing with polaroid and I like it
*cei-:
I agree, there is something missing, but I can't put my finger on it at the moment
*cei-:
I think it may have something to do with a lack of focal point
*hakfest:
possibly.

I've been trying different borders of late... maybe something different for this one would be better.
I know what you mean about something missing. I wasn't totally 100% about any of my Great Wall shots to be honest. I think it's because it's just a wall...
